the pain you deny

another kid was killed, its tragic, isnt it? just tragic, and theres nothing more to it. as if a fancy word could make up for the death of a baby. as if apologizing to your neighbor after breaking their window is good enough? is it? or will you owe them the price of repairing their window? what about the dead baby? you'll just say its tragic right? and then go on with your day, as if some baby out there wasnt murdered in cold blood, as if you did something so honorable by merely acknowledging their "tragic" death.
western media is sympathetic just about enough with dead babies. just as much as it takes for them not to admit to genocide, they're willing to be as apologetic as it takes for them to get away with murdering 20,000 kids and still be called the righteous ones.
but its not genocide, right? how can you call it genocide? just because we killed only 70k out of 2m people while declaring our non-genocidal intentions towards the same population we bombed to oblivion, its not genocide, right? its simply not genocide because i say so, right? or maybe it is genocide but they deserve it for standing up to their oppressors? or maybe they cant be victims because victimhood is a privilege only specific people get to have and they just happen not to be among that selection?
but hey, atleast we admitted it wasnt genocide and that it was merely self-defence. atleast we said we want peace. atleast we keep some arabs living among us as pets, just about enough of them that the world wont call us an apartheid and genocidal state that is dedicated to the prosperity of a specific race or religion at the expense of another.
and yet, proud of our westernized nation, we proclaim to be the righteous ones. we claim a higher form of morality just because we wont use all of the genocidal weapons we have amassed just for the right moment. after all, the west is the righteous portion of the world right? how cant they be, when they have committed in so little time more atrocities than the entire muslim world could in a thousand years? but muslims are inherently evil right? so its ok to kill 20,000 kids? but had it been 20,000 kids from a western nation, the world wouldve been turned upside down. but perhaps those kids didnt suffer for the cameras prettily enough for it to be called a genocide or for it to be prevented.
but muslims hate the west right? and how dare they! when entire muslim generations have grown up under american bombs, they're supposed to still love us right? its inhumane and unnatural for them to fight back, much less have any negative feelings toward us! so any attack by muslims on western or "westernized" nations is terrorism, but we are allowed to bomb as many of them as we want, just about enough for them not to hate us any more.
but contrary to what some people may believe, and as hard as it could be for them to grasp, its normal to have sympathy towawrds another human being that isnt of your race or religion. its normal to not praise war. and its normal to call out genocide when you see it. as creative as they'd like to be in twisting the truth.
