full functional dependency

a functional dependency $\text{[math]}$ is a full functional dependency if removal of any attribute $\text{[math]}$ from $\text{[math]}$ means that the dependency does not hold anymore; that is, for any attribute $\text{[math]}$ , $\text{[math]}$ does not functionally determine $\text{[math]}$ .
